There is no gainsaying that, my beloved Ona-Ara LG have suffered from bad representation in the past, it has suffered from bad leadership and poor structure. The 'Ojelus' have grown a pot belly from the excessive milking of our resources and their abundant but bereaved ideas of transforming our untapped resources to common wealth. What a shame. They ought to cover their faces in shame, yet they walk head tall like victors and conquerors in World Wars.
It must be pointed out however, that we have had little representatives in the past who have stood tall against the usual occultic oppression and have done immensely well for the people. This is the favorable trend that can help bring and uphold a lasting legacy for Ona-Ara LG in Ibadan.
Hon. Abidemi Sanusi Ola-Iya, the All Progressives Candidate in Ona-Ara LG, is a man who have excelled in all ramification of my screening exercise conducted. Here is a prudent and honest man, who definitely knows his onions, not the usual empty headed leaders who have absolutely nothing to share in terms of value and prospect. A renowned public speaker and CEO of Sustainable African Waste Initiative (SAWI) which has gone a long way to impact positively on the environment and society at large. This initiative in itself, can add multiple value to Ona-Ara LG, as it can provide basic knowledge and employment for the teeming youths, yet set us on a pedestal for cleanliness, healthy environment and waste recycling which amounts to wealth in the new age system.
With Abidemi Sanusi as our representative in the State House of Assembly, quality representation will not befall us and with more youthful participation in politics, we can begin to see the gradual growth Ona-Ara LG long deserved. The world is moving digital, let us all work together to get Ona-Ara working in the right direction for greatness.
