Bayo Adelabu Penkelemesi Visits Egbeda LG with Akin Alabi


In his on-going local government consultation tour to various APC leaders, executives and members, Bayo Adelabu Penkelemesi, a governorship aspirant in the ruling party of Oyo state again visited Egbeda LGA, the constituency of Akin Alabi the Nairabet CEO, who also happen to be aspiring for the House of Representative in Egbeda/ Ona-ara LG of Ibadan.
The event was well attended by the party faithfuls and many people of the local government who all came out enmass to welcome their golden son and grandson of the great Adegoke Adelabu Penkelemesi.

In his remarks, Bayo Adelabu Penkelemesi told the people and party leaders of his growing up and career pursuit days, that he has served the nation over the years in both the private and the public service, he has subsequently garnered so much knowledge and connections to handle the affairs of the state. His contribution to the many sectors of the state economy cannot also be over emphasised as he has done his bits with his lofty contributions in the housing sector with his low cost housing estates, his tourism support with his modern hotels and businesses, he is also a high contributor in the agricultural sector as well as having many farm scattered across Egbeda LG and the likes.

While also speaking: in his capacity as the deputy governor of CBN, he has helped build edifices and educational support structures in many educational institutions like: the University of Ibadan, the University College Hospital; the Polytechnic, Ibadan; the CBN Entrepreneurship Development Centre at Samonda; Bishop Philips Academy Secondary School in Egbeda to mention but a few. As the Chairman of Lagelu Grammar School Governing Board, he has led an immense transformation to the school in terms of educational supports for the teachers, suitable atmosphere for learning and provision of modern equipment and laboratory facilities to the school.

In his personal setup, he has done so much as well using his NGO scheme, Bayo Adelabu Foundation which has helped the widows in dire need with non-interest loans, educational support with scholarship and bursary scheme for students, his involvement in the support of the CCII indigenous students educational support can be traced back to about 10 years ago.

He then thanked the people and leaders of Egbeda LG for welcoming him in open hands and bestowing upon him so much support. He promises to do even more when given the opportunity to serve the state as the governor come 2019. He also thanked Akin Alabi as well for standing by him, while also endorsing him for House of Representative. He then made humble donations to aid the party proper functioning and loyalty to Adelabu course.
