Bayo Adelabu Penkelemesi Consultation Tour continues with Ona-ara LG who have portrayed the greatest support by far! The was no limit to the merriment and love expressed by the people of Ona-ara LG.
While speaking, Bayo Adelabu thanked the people of Ona-ara LG for their support for his gubernatorial aspiration and that they should see him as a complete son of the soil. Having attended Lagelu Grammar School, Agugu, in his young age days, crossing the Ibadan-Lagos express road only gives way to Oremeji, Agugu and afterwards the entirety of Ona-ara LG. He knows the nook and cranny of the whole Local government too well, he remarked, with many friends scattered across the constituency.
He went on to mention how he has grown so used to Ibadan as a whole that he feels the pain and agony of the people especially the residence and people on the right side of the express road coming from Ibadan toll-gate. He mentioned the major bustops and streets from Ibadan toll-gate: From Methodist School; Soka; Academy - leading to Olomi, Olunde; Muslim - leading to Mosfala; Olorunsogo - leading to Olunloyo, Amuloko; Oremeji - leading to Ogbere, Idi-obi; Odo Onipepeye leading to Old-Ife road; and finally down to Iwo road.
He promises to improve on the efforts of governor Abiola Ajimobi by improving on good road network, infrastructural development and industrialization of Ona-ara LG. He told the people of his vast knowledge of the remote and interior towns of Ibadan and the major bustops from Iyana New Garage to Challenge, down to Molete, Boode, Oja-oba, Mapo, Bere, Iyana Labiran, Isale-afa, Oje, Aliwo and down to bustop gate.
He then pleaded with the party leaders to make sure on their promise to improve to lives of the people of Ona-ara LG and the attached importance in choosing the right candidate in the primaries by choosing him as the successor to Gov Abiola Ajimobi. He thanked the people too for the unshakeable support and love for him, Bayo Adelabu and the legacy of Adegoke Adelabu Penkelemesi.
Bayo Adelabu subsequently through his organization, Bayo Adelabu Foundation (BAF), made a donation of #200,000 to a child in need of intensive medical care.
