As The Gambian new president, Adama Barrow arrives today in the country amid tight security with heavily-armed troops from Nigeria and Senegal standing by as he flew in from Senegal, where he had escaped to since January 15 as a measure from the then president Yahya Jammeh.
He was accompanied by his wives and children. He was also welcomed by the military officials and members of his new parliament.
There was a gathered crowd awaiting president Barrow with drummers and dancers firing up the crowds.
