The Denmark striker who has had a spell at the London Club, Arsenal FC of England has been handed a small piece of land which carries the title of Lord, which implies the nickname dedicated to him at Arsenal is now a genuine appellation and handle.
Nicklas Bendtner’s ironic nickname ‘Lord Bendtner’ is now a legitimate title after a Danish magazine purchased and named a prestigious piece of Scottish land on the player’s behalf.
The Scottish land is a one square foot of land in Glencoe Wood and it was bought and registered in the name of the present Wolfsburg striker, thus making him a Lord of Glencoe by extension.
The 27-year-old who was previously handed the nickname by Arsenal fans at the Emirates stadium and with a Twitter account in the name of Lord Bendtner also set up in his honour.
