We'll Uplift Oyo State Trade to the Next Level, Bayo Adelabu Tells Traders Union


Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Oloye Bayo Adelabu on Monday affirms his commitment to make Oyo State the business hub of the Southwest if elected as the governor the state in the 2019 election.

Oloye Bayo Adelabu Penkelemesi while addressing the Traders Union at the HEC center in Jericho told the people of the needed coalition for credible candidature, he expressed his plan for a better economy through social security and improved economic development. The grandson of the Adegoke Adelabu expressed his passion at tackling the fundamentals issue confronting the people of Oyo State, he therefore used the medium to tell the unions of his intending plans of using trade to foster the economy of the state where business can be carried out in a peaceful and serene environment.

He also informed the traders associations that this is the time for proper implementation of the good foundation laid down by the present Gov. Abiola Ajimobi who has gone a long way in setting a new standard in governance in Oyo State. The Next Level mantra is solely aimed at an empirical evidence of the good works of the Gov Ajimobi.

Present at the meeting were: Oyo State Food Workers President, Chief (Mrs) Iyadunni Lawal; Trade Men and Artisans, Chief Yisau Olayode (vice president); Oyo State Joint Traders (vice president), Chief (Mrs) Labake Lawal; National Youths Action Council (president), Alhaji Najeemdeem Azeez; Oyo State Association of Nigerian Traders (president), Chief (Mrs) Modupe Olabode; Oyo State Men/Women Association, Alhaji Dauda Oladapo; National Association of Market Leaders Council, Alhaja Sikirat Hammed Lawal; and Ibadan Joint Traders, Ibadanland, Chief Alhaji Abiodun Oladepo were all present at the meeting.

The groups' leader and representatives took turns in expressing their sincere passion to Bayo Adelabu Penkelemesi becoming the next governor of Oyo State, they pledged their total support and loyalty to the project and thereafter endorsed the APC candidate with their leadership.
